Division 2 Looking very strong.

The talk in Wisconsin wrestling the past couple of years has really always revolved around division 1, but this year differs from years past.

Division 2 is looking very solid in all of the 14 weight classes. The middle weights are looking very tough and the one that I am most excited to watch throughout the season is 132. Dewey Krueger from Oconto Falls is the defending state champ this year as a Junior, but the question is will he go 132 this year again? I also think that Trevor Greene out of Pewaukee will be in the finals this year at 132 and if any one has a shot at beating Krueger this year the heavily experienced Senior has the best chance.

Another weight that has much depth in talent is surprisingly the 220 lbs. weight class. With Luke Destiche returning as a senior after an undefeated junior campaign under his belt, will the upper weight be able to win his second state title? Jacob Roseland has been looking very good during this summer wrestling season and he could possibly give Destiche a good match up in Madison.

There is a good wrestling season ahead and I cannot wait. It will definitely be one to remember.
